My name is Ava Bella Nunziata, a film and television student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I want to share stories about real-life experiences through the medium of comedy and drama. I write scripts that come from the heart, exploring the human experience as a young woman in the modern age. During my time at SCAD, I have learned the basics of filmmaking and utilized those skills in real-life projects. I write, direct, and produce my own short films, which have won several awards. I was named Best First-Time Director at the New Jersey Film Awards for my debut short film "Cold Feet". My passion for film stems from a desire to tell stories without borders. While my focus is in writing and directing, I also have experience in Producing, Assistant Directing, Production Sound, and post-production editing, as well as casting. I aspire to create independent films that highlight the importance of the industry and the integrity of the craft. With a background in performing arts, I strive to bring the best performances out of actors. I have worked on many films, from small class projects to music videos for Grammy-winning artists. With my platform, I want to share stories that make people feel inspired and included. Filmmaking is a medium for telling stories that are both personal and universally understood, and I keep that in mind during every creative process.
